The Big Difference
The Big Difference is a food redistribution charity serving the community of Southampton.
Since 2020, The Big Difference has given out over 4 million pounds worth of food.
We work with over 100 charities, community groups and schools in and around Southampton to help struggling families and the vulnerable who are facing food insecurity.
Each month, up to 35 tonnes of food is saved from going into landfill.
In June 2024 we started our first social supermarket and seen hundreds of people have access to cheaper food, while indirectly helping thousands of others.
